Systems Consultant on a team that designed, implemented and installed a Windows based Case Management System for Aetna Health Plans. This system was created to replace an existing mainframe system which relies on a DB2 data base. The new system was created using Microsoft Visual C++, Micro Decisionware Gateway (to access the DB2 data base), and a LAN based Sybase data base for work in progress. An Object Orientated design was used to implement this system which uses imbedded and stored SQL to access the Sybase data base, and Remote Stored Procedures to transfer the data from Sybase to DB2.Pitney Bowes
Systems Engineer on a team that implemented a Windows Win 32 based weighing/rating system which could be sold to prospective buyers of Pitney Bowes hardware. This system was created to replace an existing DOS system which was antiquated. The new system was created using Microsoft Visual C++ 2.0, and used an Object Store OO Data Base. An Object Orientated design was used to implement this system.

Systems Consultant on a team that Designed, Implemented and installed a Windows based document retrieval system for Managed Care Professionals. Using a Multiple Document Interface together with an associated tool bar, a user can create, store, retrieve and process specific queries against a data base to obtain clinical documents. This system was developed using Borland's C++ and an Object Orientated design.

Research Analyst on a team developing an analysis tool that will allow a user to create medical reports within a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet by querying a data base and using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to obtain the data. Senior Programmer Analyst on a team developing a Customer Service Center to maintain Aetna's personal lines of business policies. With the use of such tools as Microsoft C 6.0, OS/2 Presentation Manager, Case PM, and Microsoft SQL Server, a user friendly system was created following IBM's CUA standards. I have written code that manipulates the data base, as well as created windows that display the data obtained. I was trained in Windows development with Microsoft C 6.0, Case Windows, and the Windows SDK to write the above system.
